Your adventure begins with our accommodations. We offer authentic, historic dwellings rich in comfort and architectural significance. We prepare our dinners at home because we have been romantically arrested by the sights, smells and flavors of the farmer’s markets and want to carry that passion back to our kitchen. Learning to cook Provencal food enables you to bring your culinary discoveries back. Guests are encouraged to dine out for lunch. Most of the villages you will visit have a variety of restaurants to suit any palate or budget.

Traveling to magical locations abroad can be a spiritual awakening and when spirits awaken they like to wander. That’s why we offer activity suggestions instead of structured days. Generous Helping does not presume to know what might fill your soul. Perhaps it’s a studied gaze at a painting by Vincent van Gogh, a long bicycle ride through the breathtaking countryside, people-watching from a village café, photographing ancient ruins, wine tasting or landscape painting. What brings you alive? There is too little time to do everything, so do what you want, with whom you wish and pay that energy back to the evening supper table for stimulating conversation.​​
